Well my trip has finally started. After months of planning and eight weeks in a boot cast I am finally on the plane heading to the Appalachian Trail.
The nervous energy is starting to build but it is tamed by the excitement and anticipation of what the next five/six months will bring. My friends back home have been super supportive and I want to thank them for all of their help. My trip wouldn't be possible without their generosity.
